Course Description

The Peer Coaching Skills Essentials course is a 4- week course designed to help participants develop practical knowledge and basic skills in Wellness literacy, Stages of Change and Peer Coaching.
The course learnings includes:
  • 4 weeks  x 2.5 hour Zoom learning sessions 
  • Weekly x 2 hour Independent Online Learning activities
  • Weekly x 2 hour Peer Learning Pairs or Circles 
  • One-on-One Feedback & Design session from group facilitator (optional)
The course Zoom meeting will be run over 4 x FRIDAY afternoons:
Week 1 - Friday 24th June, 2pm - 4.30pm
Week 2 - Friday 1st July, 2pm - 4.30pm
Week 3 - Friday 8th July, 2pm - 4.30pm
Week 4 - Friday 15th July, 2pm - 4.30pm




Wellness Curriculum Developer and Author

Eva Migdal

Eva Migdal is a trained physiotherapist, health educator, health and wellness coach, curriculum designer, author, media maker & environmental scientist. She developed and taught the Wellness Coaching course at RMIT University on the ‘Masters of Wellness’ program from 2010-2018. She founded ‘Wellschool’, a wellness & coach training social enterprise in 2012, where she developed the ‘Well Habit’ curriculum & illustrated workbooks to teach the practical and life changing skills of wellness literacy, stages of change & peer coaching. The Well Habit Peer Coaching approach is now being used in schools, universities, mentor programs and in the life insurance sector for chronic injury management. It is also a core learning on the Cert IV in Mental Health Peer Work & Psychosocial Recovery Coach training at Swinburne University, Melbourne, Australia.
